Bug Description

Binary package hint: unity

There is no option to autohide the global menu and this reduces horizontal screen real estate. Having this permanently displayed serves no purpose for non touch devices. It also adds visual clutter when you are working in an app. Full screen mode hides the app menu eg. in Open Office where access to this is important for workflow.
