Bug Description
when starting an application that is not already in the quicklist (from the application pane for instance), the tile for that application is unresponsive. The new tile does not have a menu and the application is not brought to the foreground when the tile gets a click.
after restarting mutter (for instance issuing "nohup mutter --replace" in a terminal) the tile becomes functional.
configuration: up to date ubuntu maverick, intel i915 GMA graphical hardware
how to reproduce the bug:
- click on the "Applications" tile
- choose an app that is not in the quicklist
- try clicking the tile for that new application
quite unsatisfactory fix:
- restart mutter
