Assuming lightdm preinstalled in the system, Installing unity does not enable using ubuntu unity desktop.
To get things working, package ubuntu-session needs to be separately installed.
To improve installation experience, best to make ubuntu-session a dependency of unity package because there are no other valid combinations like lxsession & unity. |
