Bug Description

So the mouse works in browsers, chrome for instance. And in other apps. So does the trackpad. When I say mouse from hereon I mean mouse and/or trackpad.

Neither work in some of the system menus. For example, the following don't work with a mouse or keyboard:
- Main menu > About the Computer / System Settings
- Volume drop-down, Sound Settings (not working with keyboard)

Apps in the Ubuntu Button work with the keyboard but not the mouse.

UPDATE. I managed to fix the access to the system settings via $ sudo apt-get install --reinstall unity-control-center

However, mouse in Ubuntu Button is still not working.

summary: - Mouse doesn't work in system menus, but works in Apps
+ Mouse doesn't work in Ubuntu Button - keyboard only

I've got the same problem here. (Took some time to find out, what the actual button was called.)
Couldn't find any problem solver so far. Do you have any further update on that issue?
