Unity launcher freezes when video is switched to full screen on chrome

Bug Description

The unity launcher freezes as soon as videos are switched to full screen on chrome.
I am using:

Chrome 60.0.3112.101 64 bit
Unity 7.5.0

The issue is easily reproducible.

There was a bug filed for the same issue but with gnome. With an update to gnome, the issue was fixed. I am not using gnome and have the default unity launcher and the issue is seen.

I am not seeing this issue when I switch videos to full screen on firefox.

Please let me know if you need me to collect any more information to help with your debugging.
