tray bar, menu bar mess up if pidgin "reconnect" is clicked

Bug Description

On Ubuntu 16.04.2, unity/xenial-updates,now 7.4.0+16.04.20160906-0ubuntu1 amd64:
If I click "reconnect" on pidgin (pidgin/xenial-updates,xenial-security,now 1:2.10.12-0ubuntu5.2 amd64) the menu bar on some activ windows are show on the window itself not in the screen top. The clock and tray icons disapear. Look at the images.

This bug happens, if screenreader is activated.

It happens more often, if screenreader was switched on and off multiple times.
