Fresh 16.04 install, all available updates applied. Unable to find any similar issues in existing help documentation or forums. Appreciate any assistance!

Thank you for your bug report, looking at the screens configuration it looks like you have 2 outputs configured on top of each others. Could you go to system settings -> displays and check if that's the case and maybe move/turn off one of those and see if that fixes the issue?
