Launcher missing when switched to Desktop from a full screen video (on Ubuntu)

When I switch to Desktop using 'Alt' + 'tab' while watching a full-screen video (Any player / Youtube) My Launcher and the top panel vanishes. Even Right-click won't work.

Status changed to 'Confirmed' because the bug affects multiple users.

I can confirm what you described, but is this really a bug ?
You are using full screen mode, so why should it show the launcher ?
When you leave full screen mode and switch to desktop it works as expected !

Yes, the launcher should not be shown when on fullscreen, But Its should show up when switched to Desktop using "Alt"+"Tab". As this bug report says, When switched to Desktop from a full screened Video, the launcher and the top panel is missing. :-)
