Switching virtual desktop through the Desktops launcher icon doesn't update it

16.04 has added a right-click menu to the Desktop Switcher launcher icon.
This menu allows the user to switch to a different virtual desktop.

However, when doing so, the launcher icon is not updated (it stays the same).
There's also no slide animation.

Thank you for your bug report, the icon not reflecting the actual number of workspace/the selected one is a old/known issue iirc (can't find the bug number now though), unsure if it's supposed to animate/slide though
