I decided to try Fedora 25 Gnome. 4 GB of RAM proved not enough for Chrome, this considering gnome starts already at 1.3 GB. All in all it does'n feel much different than Unity in mem usage. Xubuntu and the lighter bunch start with less ram, so Chrome has a harder time swapping. I would not care about Chrome, but my wife is using it ( I'm a firefox guy). I stayed with Fedora, but I had to buy 8 extra GB of ram and disable swap. The system works fine since then. On Dec 6, 2016 10:55 PM, "Ryan Karolak"
