Bug Description

When Software Updater flashes with available updates and becomes available in the Launcher, it is not accessible via ALT-TAB-ing. Software Updater is not listed in the ALT-TAB list at all. Please see the image.

Switching via Launcher (Super+TAB) works.

I'm also affected.

Like the image attached by the reporter shows, Unity (Launcher, Alt+Tab) "thinks" that the Update Manager is in another workspace, when it isn't.

I've noticed that this can be temporarily fixed by moving the Software Updater window to another workspace and back. However, I'm not sure if this fix persists after the window is closed.

I recently upgraded to Ubuntu 17.10 (Artful Aardvark) & notice that this issue does not exist anymore. I have attached a screenshot as proof.

Further to comment #5, I'm closing this issue as being fixed. The comment was made over three years ago and no-one has disputed that comment.
