unity launcher icons can not be refreshed without log out

Bug Description
That's pretty sad, it's not possible to refresh an app icon. I have an app for the calendar where the icon shows the current weekday and day of the week/month. However if I don't log out, and back in, there's no chance to get the icon updated :(
