Unity panels and window frames not displayed after boot

After system boot and login, Unity panels are not displayed, and windows appear without the frame (no title bar, no frame around the windows, only the content is shown). Unity keyboard shortcuts do not work.

I must also say that the bug is happening all the time, and the system is almost unusable.

I seem to be bitten by the same or similar issue on Xenial (16.04), see bug 1567591

This is also a regression. Happen to me just recently (after SW update some days ago).

Same Problem I had when I have installed ubuntu 16.04 first time but after installing it 3 time I can able to fix it.
In third time I didnt connect to Internet and then I go through installation, after reboot I updated system. That's how I fix or may be luck by chance!! Dont know..

same bug here ^^ if i log into Guest, or if i make a new user then unity loads... very strange.. can someone please fix this bug? it's annoying

seems to be the same problem i have.
* occurred after upgrade to 16.04
* clean test-user didn't help
* switching display-driver from nvidia to nuveau or an alternate nvidia didnt help.
* reinstall ubuntu-desktop didn't help

compiz-configuration-setup-manager was installed - and modified. but before the upgrade to 16.04 unity was working (i just have had the double-icon issue since the last upgrade therefore i decided to upgrade 16.04)

* cinnamon and Plasma desktops are working - fairly, but that#s not new ;) (one day i want to see all desktops 100% working as they should :D )
