Bug Description
All graphics elements that depend on Unity do not work. However I am able to login through lightdm and compiz loads, so I can have some GUI. (I will update with pictures, once I figure out how to access my system properly)
I have gone thoroughly over the updates that led to this issue and have narrowed the culprit.
What I did was to go to /var/log/
However, compiz and lightdm work flawlessly at the moment and if I revert updates (for unity and accompanying) way back, unity loads as well.
Further updates will follow below.
