Bug Description

I have set up my 14.04 system to show menus in the application window titlebar, rather than in the menubar. These become inaccessible during use - when I flick the mouse up to the titlebar, the menu doesn't appear. I can make them accessible again by moving the mouse to another window and then returning to the misbehaving window.

Does that happen with Qt applications only, right?
In that case the bug is known.

That may be right. I use kdevelop/kate extensively and they definitely show
the problem. I thought that I had seen it happen with Firefox though, but I
am not certain. What's the bug id for the known qt problem? I
searched before submitting a bug report and nothing turned up.
Thanks,
Michael

It seems that this is not just a Qt bug. I have seen the problem a number
of times with firefox now. It's 'fixed' the same way: by moving focus to
another window and then returning to firefox.

Regards
Michael
