Bug Description

After some (not all by any means) suspend/resume cycles, the screen remains black with a movable cursor. Note this is with an external monitor attached, the cursor can be moved to either normally.

As I am able to login to the machine remotly, I attempted to restart unity, which repainted the screen with my background (on both monitors) and then emitted the following:
