Bug Description
keyboard doesn't work correctly for two functions
1) Manual entry of UniKey characters no longer works
In all applications Ctrl+Shift U0nnnn no longer enters UniKey characters regardless of application; terminal, Firefox, Chrome, gedit, LO Write, etc...
2) When viewing workspaces with WinKey+S activating a workspace with the enter key works only with the enter key on the home row. The enter key on the numeric keypad no longer works to activate the selected workspace.

UPDATE:
In the past, to enter Unicode characters, the process that worked for me was...
press and hold Ctrl+Shift+U, type 00+<character code>, release Ctrl+Shift+U, character is entered
reported bug because that no longer works.
Some searching led me to other methods. The following works to type Unicode...
press Ctrl+Shift+U and release, type 4 char hex Unicode value, press enter, character is entered
so... bug still extant, original method to enter Unicode characters doesn't work
work around found and my need to enter Unicode chars is resolved. ✓
