Bug Description

When opening a Dash, since 12.04 I got artifacts. I can't predict them, but I see them sometimes, when I:

1) Open the Dash
2) hover over the "Application" category heading

I have attached a screenshot showing the artifacts. They always look the same!

This has been an issue for a while. Somewhere there is a massive Unity bug that includes this and many other graphical "annoyances" that was created early in the 13.10 development cycle, which I cannot for the life of me find right now. I'll keep digging around, but if anyone can remember what became of it that would be most helpful. If it has vanished, it might be nice to once again pull any persistent small graphical issues that were either missed in 13.10, or that have cropped up since.

How would I test this?
System Settings -> Information: Says I am using Grahpics: Intel(R)
