Bug Description

After the latest updates (the end of October 2013) Unity starts with corrupted display.
A lot of artifacts I mean. Nearly everything on the screen is broken.
But If you logout and login again (sometimes this operation must be repeated up to 4 times)
everything runs fine.
This phenomenon does not depend on videochip type (I tried Radeon & Geforce with the same result)
and driver.
I tried to login in Cinnamod desktop instead of Unity.
Cinnamon works fine.

Probably I've a similar problem.
After the latest update (I updated on 29 Oct) the Unity 3D desktop background is black.
If a window was opened, then closed or minimized the picture of the window remains as background (little bit confusing).
Unity 2D works fine.

I use 64 bit Ubuntu 12.04.

If this is a different issue, I can open a new report for that.

For me it seems the app Nemo causes the problem.
Since I killed the nemo process running in the background, the desktop is fine again.

I have checked i915 chipset = everything goes the same way.
My conclusion = something goes wrong with Xorg touching OpenGL drivers interaction.
2D Desktops work fine.
Only Unity 3D is looking disaster :-)
