Global menu takes a while to update / display with some apps

On Ubuntu Saucy, the global menu is quite buggy with some applications like Sublime Text 3, and fails to update quickly when I switch from an application to another (i.e. takes something like two seconds).

Also, when clicking in the menu bar, the menu sometimes takes a while to appear, doesn't appear at all, or only draws the outer shadow.

This bug wasn't present with raring.

same here with all my develpment tools st2/st3/aptana/eclipse > this is how a work this really affect me.... this a true problem for me..... please let me know..... if there is a quick fix... if not i going bak to 13.04....

same here with ST3/Eclipse and I can't even see the Global menu on Google Chrome.

Sorry folks, but, as part of the bug clean up ahead of 16.04 LTS, I'm marking this as invalid because it affects an Ubuntu release which is now unsupported. If you can still recreate this bug in a supported release, please do open a new bug and we can triage it for consideration in the 16.04 LTS development cycle.
