unity home lens empty after clearing history

Bug Description
After clearing the search history under Privacy, the home lens shows the message "Sorry, there is nothing that matches your search", even if the search box has no text.
This is unintuitive and confusing. There should be "something" even if the search history is cleared, maybe a default listing of common apps and folders (maybe an Introduction Guide, too).
