Bug Description

Working away on my up to date saucy x220 and it just freezes up. I can see no screen updates for about 10 seconds. Then the system carries on with some flicker (which I assume is unity / compiz / something crashing).

Tried 3.11.0-994-generic but it still happens. Although it's certainly happened less frequently today, or I've not noticed it.
