The following is from apt-get dist-upgrade...

I am now getting the following error.

unable to move aside `./usr/share/unity/icons/dash_sheen.png' to install new version: Input/output error

I looked at 'dash_sheen.png' and it turns out it is a directory with a full copy of the root file system on it!
