Bug Description
every few minutes unity-panel-service crashes and eats a CPU core.
it has to be killall -9 unity-panel-service and then it restarts fine, till it crashes a few minutes later.

The stack trace has zero helpful info on where the crash may be occurring and I have not seen this particular issue on my 13.10 machine, so I have no way to reproduce.
I chatted w/ Fernando (original bug reporter) on IRC briefly, and he is willing to help debug if I provide some instructions for him. I'll follow up with this.
