Unity Dash don't update local desktop files

Bug Description

Unity Dash only show new applications after reboot when the desktop file is manually created in .local/share/applications.

You could try update database manually and see if it helps:
$ update-desktop-database ~/.local/share/applications

Just an idea. I don't have Unity to test it.

Thanks for the tip. It doesn't work. In fact, search in dash stopped working.
