Maximized windows have small right-hand non-input area

Bug Description
It appears that when a maximized window is opened, there is a small vertical area on the right side where mouse clicks will fall through to the window behind the maximized window. This is most noticeable when Firefox starts, and you move the mouse all the way to the right to operate the scroll bar.
This area is just barely visible, as a white bar that fades into the top title bar (see screenshot). Un- and re-maximizing the window gets rid of this area.
