At the moment if a user goes to the Music Lens after a fresh install they are faced with an empty dash.
The Gwibber and Photo lenses also faced similar problems, we way we solved these problems was by not displaying the icons that represent these lenses unless the user had content to search ( see bug #1056231 ).
This bug requests that if the Music Lens does not have any content to display, the Music Lens icon should not appear on the Dash bottom nav bar.
