Bug Description
Unlike other applications GIMP don't open maximised if it is closed maximised. This happens in the one-window-mode.
When reopened after being closed maximised, the program window is too large for the screen space available and extends below the bottom edge of the screen. This was confirmed at least for GIMP.
This happens at least for me with a monitor resolution of 1366 x 768.
