Bug Description

I detected this silly glitch while using Unity fullscreen (Netbook mode).
Hardware reference can be found here: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/druellan/hpenvy1095la

Steps to reproduce:
Put Unity on fullscreen (netbook) mode.
Open Nautilus just to have a referene background.
Push ALT to open the HUD.
The "blured" background of the HUD is not right, some parts are expanded vertically.

Screenshot:
TOP - shows how the background is supposed to be seen.
BOTTOM - shows how the background got rendered instead.

Details:
The effect can sometimes blink between the correct and the wrong visualization. This can happen on its own or related to focus. For example, it was imposibble to take a screenshot using print-screen, because the effect reverts to the "correct" condition while I push the key.

Hi Omer.
About the duplicate flag: while technically could be related, visually is not exactly a duplicate of bug #855627: its only related to the HUD, the content is not shifted but distorted (I can be wrong), only happens while using the maximized version of the Dash, and is not permanent and can blink. Just changed the description to address the last behavior.
