I often want to check which window I've open in an application so I click on the application on side bar .eg Terminal, clicking on it zooms out of my desktop to the 2-3 terminals I've open. when I go to click on the application the applications lock and freeze up,there is no way around this but to hard reboot machine.
another way to trigger this is to alt tab though applications, zoom out and zoom into an application and flick to a webapp I've running.
to stop this happening today I've:
1) removed sudo rm /etc/apt/sources.list.d/unity-team-staging-quantal.list
2) run updates
3) Run this removed sudo rm /etc/apt/sources.list.d/unity-team-staging-quantal.list
This was on the advice of popey
This has cut down on the freezing but not gotten rid of it all
