description |
If I set panel opacity < 1.0 then fullscreen windows don't redraw. Or in some cases like playing video in mplayer, the whole screen just flickers.
This seems to be related to active blur updates (FBO logic). Because the problem goes away if I set panel opacity back to 1.0.
ProblemType: Bug
DistroRelease: Ubuntu 12.10
Package: unity 6.0.0-0ubuntu1
ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.5.0-4.4-generic 3.5.0-rc6
Uname: Linux 3.5.0-4-generic x86_64
ApportVersion: 2.3-0ubuntu4
Architecture: amd64
Date: Sun Jul 15 18:05:17 2012
InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 12.10 "Quantal Quetzal" - Alpha amd64 (20120606.2)
ProcEnviron:
LANGUAGE=en_AU:en
TERM=xterm
PATH=(custom, no user)
LANG=en_AU.UTF-8
SHELL=/bin/bash
SourcePackage: unity
UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install) |
TESTCASE 1:
1. Open a window fullscreen (e.g. F11 in a terminal or browser window)
2. Tap Super.
Expected: The dash to appear (but not get focused due to other bugs)
Observed: The screen freezes and/or flickers.
