Bug Description
I often find that a small number of apps, Spotify for Linux Preview being one of them, don't show icons on the launcher when open - but do leave a gap in the launcher which can still be right-clicked to show their quicklist/options. This looks really strange when witnessed (screenshot included) and I am quite sure that it is not intended. I don't know what causes this, though seeing as Spotify is in beta it's probably something its developers have neglected to include, but whether that's the case or not, Unity should compensate for faulty apps by doing more than just leaving an empty gap.
