Bug Description
up-to-date Ubuntu 12.04, 3.2.0-26-generic 64 bits linux kernel, Unity 3D desktop, nvidia proprietary drivers -post release-
Unity 5.12-0ubuntu1.1
compiz 1:0.9.7.8-0ubuntu1
Steps to reproduce
1) Click the BFB to open de dash
2) click restore button to unmaximize the dash if it is maximized, or double click to maximize-restore
Expected:
the dash is unmaximized, the wallpaper/others windows opened can be viewed normally to the right of the dash and under it
What happened instead:
the dash is display unmaximized, with its border and shadow. However the rest of the screen (to the right and under the dash) is shown black.
moving the mouse over some of the icons in the dash/section tittles or typing some text redraws the screen and solves the problem
Screenshot attached
This only happen in Unity 3D, Unity 2D works ok. I think the problem appeared after the last Unity update, but can't confirm
