Bug Description
When spreading out all open windows in unity (Super+W), it should be possible to close a window from the spread out windows.
My suggestion is to show a "Close" or "X" button on a window preview, when hovering over it. If you click it, the window will be closed, but the other windows will still remain spread out.
This way, you can close several windows without the need to spread out the windows again to close another one.
To make it a bit more understandable, here is what you have to do, to close a window:
- spread out windows
- click the window you want to close
- click the close button
- spread out windows again
- click another window
My suggestion:
- spread out windows
- hover the window you want to close. A "Close" or "X" button appears in the top right of the preview
- click the "X" button, the window is closed, "spread out view" remains
- click the window you want to look at
edit: i have just come to know, that this is already implemented in gnome3.
