Bug Description

Steps to reproduce:

1) Go to Workspace 2.
2) Open gedit.
3) Snap gedit to right half of the screen.
4) Go to Workspace 1.
5) Click gedit's icon in the Unity launcher.

Expected result: Unity moves the view to Workspace 2.
What actually happens: the view stays on Workspace 1 and gedit is moved from its position to off the screen. Sometimes you can get a corner of gedit on Workspace 1 (in the upper-left part of the screen), and sometimes, gedit is shifted by a width of the unity launcher or so into Workspace 1.

This also happens with other apps, for example nautilus, archive manager, terminal. It is possible that compiz crashes and doesn't restart everything, as I get many random "internal error" reports.
