Bug Description

After I unlocked some applications from the launcher (Google Chrome, LibreOffice Writer, LibreOffice Impress, etc), the icons of some of them e.g Google Chrome and LibreOffice Writer don't show on the launcher, even after I run them (e.g from dash). So, when I minimize them I can't find them to restore their windows because their icons aren't on the launcher, so I lose them. I can only get back to them with Super+W. That happened with most of the applications I unlocked, but not all (e.g not with LibreOffice Impress).

That has seem to be fixed with a reboot, if it occurs again, I will refer it here.

Now it happened with audacious, without it ever even being locked on the launcher, let alone me ever unlocking it from there. It seems it doesn't have to do with the applications being unlocked from the launcher.

I've tried every version of Unity and I had/have this problem with every one, including the newest one in 13.04. Other issues aside, this is the biggest reason I find Unity to be unusable. What good is a desktop enviroment if it can't restore minimized windows?

Also, I'm a time traveler. I've been talking with some developers from 1995 and they say they have a solution for this issue.
