After opening app from message tray, you wind up at bottom of email thread, instead of top

Bug Description
When you get a notificiation about a new email and you click on the gmail icon from the message tray
Expected behaviour:
You end up at the location in the email thread you got a notification for
Behaviour I get:
You end up at the bottom of the email thread
