unity-webapps draw attention where none is warranted

Bug #1086435 reported by Brian Curtis on 2012-12-04
This bug affects 1 person
Affects Status Importance Assigned to Milestone
WebApps: Applications Data
unity-webapps-gmail (Ubuntu)

Bug Description

gdbus call --session --dest com.canonical.indicator.messages --object-path /com/canonical/indicator/messages/menu --method org.gtk.Actions.DescribeAll > bcurtiswxOutput.txt

Look at attached file bcurtiswxOutput.txt

The envelope icon is turned on at times where no new items are shown. Seems some entries are drawing attention where they should not.

This is the gmail webapp which sets "draws-attention" to its folders (probably with messaging_menu_app_draw_attention) even though there are no new messages in them.

affects: webapps-applications (Ubuntu) → unity-webapps-gmail (Ubuntu)
Changed in unity-webapps-gmail (Ubuntu):
importance: Undecided → Medium
