The "activate the window menu" binding is reset at each reboot

Bug Description
I would like to unset the "activate the window menu" key binding once and for all. I don't need this feature and I need Alt+Space for Emacs. To do that, I open the unity-control-
I'm on a clean install of Ubuntu 14.04 with a fresh HOME folder.
This bug has been here for years and this is the first time I bother reporting it. Sorry about that.

unity-control- center doesn't run in the session, it's just an UI to do changes, if something loose its value when u-c-c is not running it's not due to it. Reassigning to unity-settings- daemon but it could be compiz/something else as well
