Bug Description

SearchMetadata is created with a HashTable of metadata in the preview, but that metadata is not available to the scope.

SearchMetadata is supposed to be type-safe, we do not want to expose Variants to the users of the API. Therefore it needs to have well defined properties.

This is no longer an issue with the new scopes API. The SearchMetadata is passed to the scope when searching.
