video lens slows down pc makes it unusable

Bug Description
When using the video lens (just opening it is enough) slows down my PC incredibly.
The system monitor shows dozens of "totem thumbnailers" (see the screenshot below).
I have severl 100Gb of Videos.

Hello,
could you please answer the following questions to help fixing this bug?
- Do you still have the default Video folder?
- If yes, how many videos does it contain? (I don't need an exact number, an estimation will do)
- Do you still have the default /home/user name/.cache folder? (Type Ctrl+H in the file manager to display hidden folders)
