Bug Description
Description:
Currently the dash doesn't show all apps all the apps that are available in USC.
Missing app and types are:
Services: openssh-
Cli only: ufw/sl/ssh
indicator-y type things: xchat-indicator
This iirc was down to how ugly it made the dash not having an icon, no .desktop file and no exec line ie needs a terminal with a script and an option to run.
Asking people to use apt-get install in a terminal isn't really the nicest way around this. Maybe ask users to higlight a Show Technical Items like you can in usc is a solution?
Service:
Dash Apps Lens
Steps:
1. Open the dash
2. Move to the apps lens
3. Type in any of the apps listed above
4. Repeat the process using USC instead of the dash
Expected Results:
I expect to be able to find an app I am looking for and with no USC on devices the apps lens is the obvious place to find these.
Actual Results:
The apps don't appear the end.
