Not obvious which users are logged in

When you switch user, Unity-greeter only hints which users are logged in by the way of a disambiguous arrow.

It is not obvious which users are logged in, and the little arrow is not intuitive.

There are small triangles to the left of a logged in user that indicates if they are logged in

You're right.
It actually does show which users are logged in by the way of a small triangle to the left.
I must have missed this.

This raises the question, perhaps the triangle is not obvious and it is not apparent what it means?
Perhaps it is not so intuitive.

Windows more clearly indicates that a user is logged in by displaying the text "Logged on".
