Bug Description

Running 12.04 on three machines. On one of the machines I am running an Intel 82G33/G31 Express Integrated Graphics Controller as a display adapter with 64bit version of Ubuntu. On this particular machine the grid of white dots overlaid on top of the wallpaper for the currently selected user is messed up big time, however, the wallpaper itself looks fine.

Once I move the mouse, the dot grid magically fixes itself. Then if I select a new user the grid of dots is messed up again until I move the mouse.

(Not sure how I can get a screenshot to show you)

Once I log in the graphics seem to be running fine.

Confirming this on another G31 (MSI MS-7525). Haven't seen similar on 5 other Precise setups I have, including laptops with Intel 855GM and GM965 Express on the graphics (the G31 has GMA 3100).

Sorry, the GM965 Express is the chipset, that one has a Mobile Intel GMA X3100 display adapter.
