Bug Description

On a fully updated precise system:
I configured onboard to automatically show when text input is required (dunno the exact english name, using german langpacks) etc.

the menu in the top right says onboard running (screen keyboard is ticked) but it's not there. to make it appear i have to click on the screen keyboard menu twice: uncheck, then check again and then onboard appears.

i am not trying too long to get ubuntu running on this machine, so i didn't see it working until now.

Same for me on a 32bit build. I was pulling my hair out over it until I found this post.

Whoops should have mentioned this occurs at initial login. Also, is there any way I can resize the keyboard as it obscures half of the screen? This is irriating on a tiny Samsung Q1 tablet.
