Bug Description

Testing ISOs didn't install, so in order to complete the tests (and do the auto-resize which required there to be an existent system) I opted to install Alpha 1 on my virtual machine (Lubuntu 11.10 i386 host with VirtualBox 4.1.2-dfsg-1ubuntu1). Install went peachy keen but right about where LXDM would load, I get an endless loop of the X window (initially, a larger blank window) cycling back to the framebuffer and back to the X window, etc. Checking syslog I find the segfault. Apparently I'm not the only one with this problem (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?p=11475630) although there seems to be no bug report, so here you go.

I've run Precise in VM and on various systems since its release with no problems. I also don't have the problem in Quantal, so I'd call it dead. Thanks for checking.
