Bug Description
When you type in an incorrect password with a Serbian locale set for the system, the error message saying "Incorrect password, please try again" (in Serbian, of course) is too long to fit properly in the log-in dialog. See the attachment (shot with a phone camera, sorry about that).
I am certain this will affect other languages as well because the dialog is fixed size, and that never works with localisation.
Originally seen with lightdm in Ubuntu 11.10 beta (0.9.7-0ubuntu1): perhaps I should have filed it as an Ubuntu bug?

In verifying bug 1304866, I found that this looks like it might be fixed in 14.04 because the field seems to dynamically increase the size of the "login area". Can anyone confirm with the original reproducer here?
I‘ve also seen this problem with the Spanish translation. I managed to make it a bit shorter, but that’s not ideal. Maybe the message should scroll, like the options in a phone menu do.
