Bug Description
After upgrade, lightdm gets its screen info ok from the gnome-settings-
The width and height of the screen are not correct.
I have a 1920x1200 screen in portrait mode (which should be 1200x1920). The greeter displays a welcome screen which is 1920pixel wide and 1200 pixel high make the button for shutting down and reboot invisible and leaving garbage at the bottom of the screen.
I'm joining a picture of the desktop taken with my camera to show you.

thank you for your bug report, you say it's due to gnome-settings- daemon? Does it do the same in the user session?
