That is, horizontal images in 4/3 format are overscaled to occupy the whole horizontal space of a 16/9 screen with the top and bottom borders being clipped out. The image should be scaled to fit vertically instead (in that case at least), appearing with letterbox extra space on either sides so the whole image is seen scaled.
