Bug Description
At boot, plymouth is correctly instructed to quit but keep splash on the screen. However, lightdm instead of painting/fading in it's own graphics first clears the screen to black, thus producing a flicker upon boot. This might be a greeter bug, however both gtk-greeter and unity greeter behave the same.
